The Annual Meeting of the assessed establishments, assessees, in the Wilshire Center Business Improvement District will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Coffee and donuts will be served at 8:00 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. The meeting will take place at Southwestern Law School, Bullocks Wilshire Building, 5th Floor in the Salle Moderne Room, 3050 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles.

Last quarter, the security team assisted the City in getting over 156 bulky items picked up, made 232 calls/reports to the City for street services (311), assisted in getting 174 graffiti tags cleaned up, and 18 potholes reported and fixed. The team responded to 106 calls for assists to property owners, managers, stakeholders, pedestrians, LAPD and others. They issued 1 illegal vendor warning and assisted 62 homeless individuals; reported 583 homeless encampments; 165 illegal signs were removed. The team addressed the subject of 52 belligerent transients and 11 drinking in public. The bike team attended 5 LAPD crime control meetings at the Olympic Station.
